"Gateway International Raceway has notified NASCAR that it will not seek 2011 sanctions for its two Nationwide Series and one Camping World Truck Series races.
We remain committed to fulfill the balance of our 2010 schedule including our October 23rd NASCAR Nationwide race which will provide our fans the opportunity to see Danica Patrick compete here for the first time.
Economics dictate that we evaluate all of our options for this facility, including its possible sale."
Sooo... two races at Chicagoland for the trucks in 2011?

Re: No Gateway in 2011
Well that stinks. I was thinking about going to the truck race there next year instead of Kansas since I've gotten rained out the last two times there.
I hope they don't do another Chicagoland race. I'd rather see them go to The Rock, Wilkesboro, or South Boston.

Nah, those aren't sure bets. I say they'll go to a place which already has nw or cup dates.
Like Watkins Glen. That would be something, to see the trucks hit the road again.
